An attempt to engineer a song in reverse - from poem, to name, to poem again. The point of reference was originally the third chapter of William Carlos Williams' "Paterson: Book Four." Now, we tend to pick and choose somewhat randomly.

Photos from Paterson Trip
Follow the link above to view my album from the Paterson trip this past weekend. I'll post a full report on the goings-on in the next day or so, but for now, feast your voyeuristic eyes on all of the above. Briefly: Paterson is one awesome, inspirational, slummy town. Signing off, T. Az.

Breathtaking photos. I am not kidding. I loved the snow on steps. As a former Jerseyite (Can anything good come out of NJ?) I am warmed to the very cockles of my heart by these images. . . the cold, the graffiti, the crumbling industry, the polluted water. . . it's like going home.
Some of your choices of perspective in these images make them works of art. The tanks or whatever they are, are remarkable.
Hi there- stumbled across the Paterson Project. I grew up in Hawthorne, one town over. Really interesting project! The photos are beautiful and evocative. But if I am not mistaken, what you have labeled as Eastside Stadium is actually Hinchcliffe Stadium. Right next to the falls, right? More info on it here: http://www.hinchliffestadium.org/history/movement_one.php
