OK. I've read this a number of times. There is lots, that is wonderful by the way, that I get. But, I'm wondering, "is there something from Paterson that would help me get this more?"
mind bare to bear words.
Paterson hardwood?
So should I check it out of the library and look this up? Or is figure 6B a distractor?
PS Where did you get that great song player?
Hey--I've been meaning to write you back--crazy weekend/etc....
No, I don't think reading the part from the poem would help. Williams is quoting a book that describes walking, an he keeps the original reference to the diagram illustrating walking.
I do, however, recommend reading Paterson.
The song player is from archive.org, the folks who host our songs. It's a copy/paste html thing.
I started Paterson once. I really have to read. Perhaps next, after I finish my love affair with Juan Rulfo. The thing I love about Rulfo is that I can read his entire life's "text corpus" in less than the time I could read Paterson.
